Customer Requirement

Client requires a custom email notification system for their auction website. Specifically, the client wants to receive an automatic email notification when an auction ends without any bids or winners. This functionality should ensure that administrators are informed of unsold auctions, enabling them to take appropriate follow-up actions.

1. Email setting backend

  • Add a new email notification setting under: WooCommerce → Emails → Ultimate Auction – Auction no Bid
  • Provide an option (checkbox toggle) to enable/disable this notification.
  • When enabled, the system should automatically: Detect auctions that end with no bids / no winner Trigger an email notification to the admin.

Design & Development

Based on the agreed requirements, the following development work will be carried out to implement a reliable and user-friendly email notification system for auctions without bids.

1. Email Notification Integration

  • Design and implement a global header applied consistently across all pages using a unified layout.
  • Develop and integrate a new email notification to trigger when an auction ends with no bids or no winner.
  • WooCommerce Email Settings Add a new configurable email option under:
    WooCommerce → Emails → Ultimate Auction → Ultimate Auction – Auction no Bid
    This will include an enable/disable check for the “No Bids / No Winner” notification.
  • Auction Status Detection Logic
    Implement logic to accurately detect auctions that have ended without any bids or winners, ensuring the notification is triggered only under the correct conditions.
  • Custom Email Template
    Design and create a professional email template following WooCommerce standards, including dynamic detail.
