The offline dealing process to ensure buyer and seller details are shared only after the buyer’s premium is paid. Below, I outline the proposed process, development efforts, and cost to implement your requirements.

Process to Complete Your Requirements:

Scenario 1: Offline Dealing with Buyer Premium Add-ons :

When an auction ends with offline dealing and buyer premium add-ons enabled, the following customizations will be implemented:

  1. Winner Notification Email (Buyer):
    • The current email template sent to the auction winner will be customized.
    • Seller details will be removed from the email.
    • A “Pay Buyer Premium” button will be included.
    • The email text will be updated with content such as:
Congratulations, [WinningBidderName]!
The winning bid amount is £1000.00. Once you pay the buyer's premium, we will provide the seller's details and share your details with the seller.
    • Seller Notification Email:
    • The current email template sent to the seller will be updated.
    • The email text will inform the seller that buyer details will be shared only after the buyer’s premium is paid, e.g.:
Once the buyer pays the buyer's premium, we will provide the buyer's details.
    • Single Product Page:
    • Seller details currently displayed on the single product page after the auction ends will be hidden until the buyer’s premium is paid.
    • Once payment is confirmed, the seller’s details will be displayed.
      Post-Payment Buyer Email:
    • A new email template will be created for the buyer, sent after successful payment of the buyer’s premium.
    • The email will include the seller’s details with content such as:
Thank you for your payment. Here are the seller's details: [Seller Details]
  1. Post-Payment Seller Email:
    • A new email template will be created for the seller, sent after the buyer pays the buyer’s premium.
    • The email will include the buyer’s details with content such as:
The auction winner (buyer) has now paid the buyer's premium.
Here are the buyer's details: [Buyer Details]

Scenario 2: Offline Dealing with Buyer Premium and Credit Card Auto-Debit Add-ons:

When the buyer’s premium is automatically debited via credit card, the process will be streamlined as follows:

  1. Winner Notification Email (Buyer):
    • Since the buyer’s premium is auto-debited, the winner email will include the seller’s details immediately.
    • No “Pay Buyer Premium” button will be required.Seller Notification Email:
    • The seller will receive the buyer’s details in the notification email sent after the auction ends, as the payment is already processed.Single Product Page:
    • Seller details will be displayed on the single product page immediately after the auto-debit of the buyer’s premium is confirmed.

Development Efforts and Cost:

To implement the above customizations, the estimated development effort is 17 hours. Our standard rate for custom work is $45 per hour, resulting in a total cost of:
17 hours × $45/hour = $765

Final Cost = USD 380
